Description
I claim that any analysis of any company, whether it is strategic or financial, should start with financial statements governed by the rules of financial accounting.
Knowing financial accounting is essential for any businessperson. After you complete this course, you will gain great confidence and expertise regarding any financial analysis and financial statement inspection.
It is no wonder that financial accounting has become an STEM-designated course in world’s best business schools. This course is also created with the same intent.
Financial accounting is the basis for any financial modeling and intrinsic company valuation models. Financial statement analysis relies on the fundamentals of financial accounting. To that end, this course also covers fundamentals of financial statement analysis and complementary ratio analysis.
Financial accounting cannot be taught efficiently solely through textbooks, and arbitrary and made-up examples. It should be taught through real financial statements of real companies. Any business strategy analysis and financial analysis should start with a thorough financial statement analysis based on the concepts of financial accounting. With the expert-level knowledge of financial accounting, you will be able to ascertain the current health of any company and decipher any irregularities, as well as accounting frauds, just as a doctor or a forensic investigator does.
Financial accounting is difficult for some people, but there is a mechanics to it. You will learn the mechanics without memorizing anything blindly and you will come to love it and be fascinated by it.
All my courses, including this course, are both skill- and knowledge-based. I teach you professional skills that can be implemented and are actionable.
The course is self-contained. You do not need any additional material for this course. An intermediate level Excel capability is required.
This course contains all the material and content needed to conduct an expert-level financial accounting analysis.
Whether you are an entrepreneur running a business, a CFO, a financial analyst, accountant, equity analyst, management consultant, investment banker, or an individual investor, you will find the lessons I teach in this course highly valuable, expertise- and skill-building.
This is not another certificate granting and box-checking course.
The course is only for building expert-level skills, as well as confidence in conducting financial accounting analyses.
