Description
Knowing corporate finance is essential for any businessperson. After you complete this course, you will gain great confidence and expertise regarding how capital budgeting decisions are made and how different types of assets, including companies, company departments and projects, are valued. You will grasp fine details with respect to the definition of risk and how risk is incorporated into financial valuation models. The course will close with an extensive chapter about options.
It is no wonder that corporate finance has become an STEM-designated course in world’s best business schools. This course is also created with the same intent.
Like financial accounting, corporate finance is the basis for any financial modeling and intrinsic company valuation models. Corporate finance cannot be taught efficiently solely through textbooks, and arbitrary and made-up examples. It should be taught through examples related to real-world companies and this course is created with that mindset.
Corporate finance is difficult for some people as it requires a fair level of calculus and statistics, but there is a mechanics to it. You will learn the mechanics without memorizing anything blindly and you will come to love corporate finance and be fascinated by it.
All my courses, including this course, are both skill- and knowledge-based. I teach you professional skills that can be implemented and are actionable.
The course is self-contained. You do not need any additional material for this course. An intermediate level Excel capability is required although I provide clear instructions on how I construct Excel models.
This course contains all the material and content needed to master expert-level corporate finance analyses.
Whether you are an entrepreneur running a business, a CFO, a financial analyst, accountant, equity analyst, management consultant, investment banker, or an individual investor, you will find the lessons I teach in this course highly valuable, expertise- and skill-building.
This is not another certificate granting and box-checking course.
The course is only for building expert-level skills, as well as confidence in conducting corporate finance analyses.
